Oil, grease, and lubricant contamination on the surface of stainless steel should be wiped clean with a soft cloth, and then cleaned with neutral detergent, ammonia solution, or specialized detergent in the future.

The surface of stainless steel has bleach and various acid attachments. Immediately rinse with water, then soak in ammonia solution or neutral carbonated soda water solution, and wash with neutral detergent or warm water.

The rainbow pattern on the surface of stainless steel is caused by excessive use of detergent or oil. When washing, use warm water neutral detergent to wash it off. Rust caused by surface contaminants on stainless steel can be washed with 10% nitric acid or grinding detergent, or with specialized cleaning agents.
